It’s been a while since I’ve had a relaxing weekend especially now that fashion week is over I feel like it’s something that is much needed! The last time I could possibly remember a relaxing weekend was during my staycation at the One & Only the Palm Jumeirah!  I haven’t had that much peace and relaxation for as long as I can remember… oh do take me back!

So what was it like to stay at the One & Only The Palm:

The Room: the view was overlooking the beach, stayed in one of the beautiful Palm Manor Premier King Room in one of the resorts villas. Walking into the room was a long pathway that lead to a beautiful bedroom that had a desk, a bed and sliding doors to the bathroom.

The Bed: The bed was extremely comfortable with pillows to last me a lifetime, so waking up in the morning was not so easy!

The Bath Room: The Bath Room was so spacious, it had a his and hers sink, endless closet space, a section for us ladies to get our hair and makeup done, a bathtub situated in the middle of the bath room that I could simply sink in and a shower that I simply couldn’t walk out of because of the amazing water pressure!

The Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner: Knowing me you would know by now that breakfast in bed is a hit of miss situation, and oh did they get the breakfast in bed simply right! I ordered myself some eggs and pancakes and did the same exact thing the next day but had it by my balcony (the view was irresistible). The options for lunch and dinner is endless at the hotel and the night before I ended up having a little bite at the most romantic place in Dubai in my opinion which is the 101. To get there you need a buggy from the room as it is a secluded dock from the resort that overlooks the view of the Marina and of course its situated over water, romantic right?

Spa: Now the spa was an experience on its own. Knowing that the spa is run by Guerlain you need to know that the experience is like no other, from walking into the spa to the welcoming of the staff members. First of all I don’t think I have ever been to any spa that had a makeup section right after you are done with your massage, I mean they had thought of everything. It’s one of my favorite  spa experience by far.  After the spa treatment I was asked to just enjoy the facilities that included a bath that looked like royalty!

P.S Ladies did you know that you can get a 15% discount on your spa treatments in the morning on weekdays!!!

Others: The pool! Well how many places can you actually go to where you have your own private cabana to indulge the day in? we were served with food and beverages as we soaked in the sun in a very quiet and lovely pool day. One of my favorite pools in Dubai that’s for sure.

So do I recommend a staycation at the One & Only the Palm? I give it a 10/10
