Valensole, Lavender Fields, I FINALLY MADE IT!! this trip has been on my bucket list for the past 3 years. Every time I would plan the trip it would either be too late, someone cancels on me or I have another trip around the same time. So it really takes planing for the perfect time for the season, which happens to be around mid July. That’s when the fields are at its highest bloom and the best ones are in Valensole.. no one really wonder all the way there.

So waking up that morning was just exciting for me. We woke up at 7am and drove for almost 3 hours to Valensole in Provence from Monte Carlo. The fields are literally scattered everywhere in around Valensole and it’s so beautiful. You can stop at the first field you spot, but the more wrong turns you take and deeper in you go the more secluded and bigger the fields get. We got there and to my luck, it started raining cats and dogs on us and that was extremely stressful for me, so we just drove to the nearest village and grabbed lunch just in time for the rain to stop.

We ran all around the field and we were covered in mud but honestly I couldn’t have cared less because I knew we were getting some sick shots! Oh and the kicker …. I got stung by a bee on the side of my knee while wearing a gown!! How on earth did it get in there and found the time to sting me. I am telling you it’s the most painful thing ever but I soldiered through and managed to survive it.

Anyway I am mumbling on about stupid stuff and I just wanted to share these gorgeous photos with you and share my painful bee story! Love you guys!!!!
