So the past weekend I stayed at the Waldorf Astoria Dubai Palm Jumeirah, a mini staycation to pamper myself! Trust me I needed the time off and not to think or worry about anything at all felt liberating. It was just me, my girls and the beach!

So let’s see what I got up to.

CHECK IN

Checking in was a breeze! I love it when check-ins are quick and painless and they made my experience just that. The ladies were very helpful and the concierge got my bags to the room in time. So, 5 stars for them!

ROOM

There nothing I love more than a spacious room. The room was very spacious and you wouldn’t mind having a few people over kinda space. The closet space is pretty decent. So if you pack as heavy as I do, it will do!

As for the bathroom, all the toilet supplies were by Salvatore Ferregamo, it smelt soo good. You will also have your own bathrobes (his and hers). A The toilet has a door, I love my privacy! A bathtub that is separated by glass, of course you have the option of bringing down the blinds. Lastly a shower section and everything is in white marble. Just how I like it!

 The internet in the room is pretty fast and easy to use.

 As for the view, it was fabulous. I got the view of the palm (if you have to spent a little extra please do because it’s worth it!

SERVICE

I was very impressed with the service overall, but trying to grab the attention of the waiters by the beach was very difficult. None the less everyone was friendly and very tentative.

BEACH/POOL

Best part of my staycation was chilling under the sun by the beach and pool. The variety of food served was great and very delicious. I had the club sandwich and it was YUMMY! The beach wasn’t very crowded and the water was very clear.

As for the pool, you could have your own cabana or simply just lay on the pool beds. They have a very big pool and of course a kids section to it too.

AFTERNOON TEA

We had the afternoon tea by the terrace and it was very nice. Again, it was overlooking the palm and you could also see the skyscrapers over by the Marina area. We ordered the Parisian afternoon tea whilst enjoying the beautiful sunset.

SPA

Let talk about how amazing the spa is! The welcoming at the reception was on point and I got to experience one of the Waldorf Astoria Spa Dubai  signature treatments. I got to pick my own scent and enjoy every minute of it. BOOK HERE

 I got my treatment done at the VIP Suite, where most couples go to enjoy their treatments. It had its own bathroom, sauna and steam room.

Couples go to enjoy having their massage taken at the same time, and before any of that they get the room to themselves for about 30 minutes.

It was surly worth it.
