My name is Yousif Abdul-said I’m a 20 year old Kuwaiti, Fashion designer, stylist, interior designer.
I live in Kuwait I study interior design it’s my second year now, fashion is my passion it what my life is all about, since I was a kid I was really close with my mom, she taught me everything about fashion, I was her little stylist, when I ever she goes shopping she has to take me with her, and now thanks to her I’m a shopaholic, and from that day I knew I’m going to end up in fashion, so I’m thankful for her for always believing in me and always there to support me, and I can’t wait to show her and everyone what that little stylist did now J
1. What is Fashion to you?
“Fashion is a life style, it’s a choice, it’s a freedom of expression” –Christina Aguilera
To me fashion is EVERYTHING, I breath fashion, it’s me talking through my clothes, my accessories, my shoes, every little detail of my style says something about me.
2. How did you get into Fashion designing?
I’ve always been picky when it comes to clothes since I was a kid, I couldn’t find what I was looking for or I couldn’t find my size, so I started making my own clothes, and people started asking me where did you get this? And I told them that I designed it, and people kept asking me to design them clothes from casual wear to dresses, and I thought it’s a bout time for me to inter the fashion world.
3. How did you come to name your brand O by Ose?
Well, Osé is actually my nickname it means “Yousif” it started since I was 15 my 3 year old cousin couldn’t pronounce Yousif so she started calling me Osé, and by the time every one started calling me Osé too, and O is the first initials of Osé.
4. What are the inspirations behind your collection?
I want to make modern women more confidant, make them feel the power, and change their idea about fashion, make them open up to the fashion world, take risks And feel free to express themselves, because at the end it’s about them and how they feel about their look.
5. Tell us about your latest collection? And where can we find them?
Well I just started working on my 1st collection for women, casual wear and dresses. It’s 16 garments, and I’ll be lunching it soon, after making my first fashion show. It’s either going to be at the end of February or the first week of March hopefully; it’ll be available in some boutiques after that (I’ll keep you updated about the name of the boutiques later)
6. What’s next for Your Brand?
Hopefully yeah, but my first goal now is to make the biggest fashion show in Kuwait, and to make it into Dubai Fashion week.
7. Who wears O by Ose?
Confident, fierce, independent, strong women, who know what they want with their lives and they go for it, women who are not afraid of showing their beauty and sharing it to the world.

Alexander McQueen, John Galliano, Marc Jacobs, Rad Hourani, Rick Owens, Gareth Pugh
9. What is your favorite trend this winter?
Coats, boots, fur
10. Last inspirational words for the readers?
Don’t ever hide who you are, be true to yourself, if you want something go for it, work hard for it, because at the end it’s all about you.
