So as all of you may know by now, is that I am one of the few Emarati girls who doesn’t wear the traditional Abaya (Well not always). I get a bit clumsy when wearing it, I do tend to stumble and trip every now and then which isn’t too attractive.
I actually once went through this horrific incident where my Abaya got stuck at the end of an escalator at the airport (horrible moment) and it was just pulling my Abaya in and this Old Emarati man tried helping me… it was a moment worth dying as everyone was staring..
Well besides my little Abaya story, I decided to take a minute and do a post on one of my favorite Abaya brands in Dubai which is Nabrman. I love the owner of the brand Hend Al Mutawa (such a sweet heart really). She is so creative and colorful when picking fabrics and designs for her abaya line.
So yesterday I spent my afternoon at the Nabrman Boutique with a friend of mine Noura Al Hajri to just take pictures and enjoy the Abaya’s (as well as eat dates, I love dates)

This one has to be my personal favorite, I love the silk on the inside, and the details at the top. Its not over done but its perfect for a gathering or an event.
Another favorite of mine is this little pearly one, Check out the shoulders and the fabric used. its all in the DETAILS!
Velvet anyone?
I am currently obsessed with velvet, and this is perfect for an everyday Abaya, I would definitely pair it up with a belt to match the inner silk just to spice it up a bit.

Such gorgeous abayas! I wish we had these options here in the US. All the abayas that are sold here are really ugly haha. I guess I’ll have to check them out on my next Dubai trip.
